Christy Smith Byers, 49, of Beaverdam died Wednesday, December 17, 2008. She is survived by her husband Leonard "Fuzzy" Byers, her daughter, Caty Rose Byers of Beaverdam, her step-daughter Diane B. Branch of Milford, her sister Sherry Smith Henshaw of Bumpass, numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at Zion Church in Beaverdam. Arrangements by Lacy Funeral Home in Mineral.
