Lewis Leroy Holtzlander, Sr. of Louisa, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Shirley C. Holtzlander; his son, Lewis L. Holtzlander, Jr.; his granddaughter; four great-grandchildren; and his brother. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Gilboa Christian Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Gilboa Christian Church on Wednesday, January 21, 2009. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Roger Byrd Benevolent Fund, c/o Gilboa Christian Church, 15303 Jefferson Highway, Bumpass, VA 23024.
