Bettie Lou Williams
WILLIAMS, Bettie Lou, 80, went to heaven on Sunday, April 26, 2009. She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Paul Morgan. She is survived by her daughters, Jane M. Brooking Jones and her husband, Michael P., and Julia Lloyd and her husband, Jimmy; a daughter-in-law, Ann Morgan; her grandchildren, Danielle Brooking, Kristine and Jay Rachmel, Sandy and Buddy Sheppard, Heather Jones, Jamie and Mike Sprouse and Morgan Lloyd; her great-grandchildren, Matthew Serrett and Brianna and August Hawk; her sisters, Freda Shriever and her husband, William, of Monro, N.Y., and Helen Cabell of Gauley Bridge, W. Va.; a brother, Elbert Williams and his wife, Pat, of St. Albans, W. Va.; and a devoted friend, Hazel Morgan. She also had many friends and family in W. Va., where she was a retiree of the City of Charleston. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, April 30 at Lacy Funeral Home, Route 522, Mineral, Va., with interment in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Goochland Rescue Company 5, Gum Spring Methodist Church or Long Branch Methodist Church of Pax, W. Va., where she was a lifetime member.
