Irma Parrish Bourne, widow of Thomas Lewis Bourne, Jr., died, Thursday, July
16, 2009.
She is survived by her daughters Yoland Morris and her husband Bob, and
Jackie Bowles and her husband Gerald. Her beloved grandchildren, Susan
Anderson, Tommy Bourne, Kevin McLeod and Amy Wyant, seven
great-grandchildren; three sisters, Elnora Harris, Ilma Stone and her
husband Winfrey and Elsie Turner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clint and Effie Parrish, her
sisters, Cozy Brooks, Lucille Gammon and Mable Parrish, her brothers,
Holman, Claude, Russell and Mac.
She was a long time member of Hopeful Baptist Church
Her funeral was held, Saturday, July 18, 2009, at Hopeful
Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
