EGLESTON, Jim "Slider," of Gum Spring, died Wednesday, July 28, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; their three children, lain, Brandi and Ashley; his sons, Jay and Jimmy; his mother, Nancy; his father, Harry; three brothers, Mark, Glen and Timothy; his sister, Jamie. He also leaves behind his grandchildren who were his heart and soul. His remains rest at Lacy Funeral Home, Rte. 522, Mineral, Va., where funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, August 1. The family will receive friends at 3 p.m. on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, "Slider" would appreciate donations to his family at 4360 Broad Street Rd., Gum Spring, Va. 23063.
